Landcraft Make a Splash! – July 2010

The evening began at Mermaid Quay in Cardiff Bay where we were strongly advised by our ‘skipper’ to wear the waterproof clothing provided. As we boarded the speed boat and started our journey to the sound of Sponge Bob Square Pants blaring from the onboard speakers, little did we know quite what was in store for us.

Having helped Cardiff City Council achieve a Silver Gilt medal at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in 2007 for the Doctor Who themed garden ‘A Garden in Time’, we were again very proud to be invited to help in the creation of their 2009 garden 'Cardiff - Capital for Shopping' a garden celebrating the city’s retail credentials.

BALI Workshop - How to Produce an Award Winning Project – February 2009

We are very pleased to have been asked by the British Association of Landscape Industries to join them in presenting a workshop on our recent award winning project at Mountain Ash.

The workshop will be open for all who are committed to raising industry standards including fellow BALI members, members of the Landscape Institute and other landscape professionals as well as other landscape contractors who are not currently BALI members.

BALI National Landscape Principal Award Winner – December 2008

We are very proud to announce that we have been awarded the Principal Award for Land Renewal and Regeneration at the prestigious British Association of Landscape Industries National Landscape Awards 2008 ceremony for our 'Riverside Park' project in Mountain Ash. The ceremony was held in The Great Room at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London on Friday 5th December. The judges commented that "the contractor, through the careful and skilful use of the materials to hand, has succeeded in regenerating a derelict area that would otherwise have continued to blight this community. The result of their work is a valuable and popular public open space”.

A Clean Sweep – November 2008

We are pleased to have recently added a Johnston Madvac PS300 compact sweeper to our plant fleet. The pedestrian-friendly sweeper is very efficient at cleaning litter, leaves, moss etc. from paved areas. It features powerful twin brushes and a vacuum collector and a wander hose to allow access to even the most difficult to clean areas. With this addition to our fleet we will be able to offer an enhanced and more efficient service to our grounds maintenance clients. The machine will also be invaluable in helping us to keep our new build sites clean as works progress.

3 Tonne dumper

The Fleet Keeps Growing – February 2006

Having reviewed our recent plant hire costs, we have purchased a 3 tonne swivel skip dumper to compliment our existing plant fleet. Other items of plant already included within our fleet include both high lift and tracked dumpers, mini excavators, a JCB 3CX backhoe loader, tractors, specialist cultivation equipment and both front mounted and mid mounted ride on mowers.

To further increase our ability to provide a quality service at competitive rates we have recently purchased a 5500 mm long triple axle plant trailer to carry our 1.5 tonne excavator and 1 tonne dumper combined.
