This project for Cardiff Harbour Authority required us to construct a link footpath from the Barrage Crest Walkway down to the edge of the Bay. This involved us in creating an artificially lined pond fed by a 17m long pebble lined rill.

Cardiff City Council, BBC Wales and ourselves teamed up for the 2007 RHS Chelsea Flower Show to create ‘A Garden in Time’, a garden reflecting the changes in design between the 1960s and the present day.

The principal feature within the Friary Garden is a pergola which features reinforced reconstituted stone columns set on brick plinths with heavy oak timbers all complemented by some superb planting.

This contract involved the construction of hard landscape features and paving around the main gatehouse entrance into the botanical garden of Wales.
