ASDA, Longwell Green, Bristol
We are working for ISG Pearce Ltd on the extension of the existing ASDA store at Longwell green which is apparently the busiest store in the UK. The store is to remain open during the works and so we will be working in close proximity to the general public at all times. The works involve the planting of semi-mature trees within newly created planting areas and in amongst existing mature shrubs, the planting of new container grown shrubs and the mulching and re-mulching of planted areas. This site will be maintained for 12 months following completion.
New Marstons Tavern, Rhydycar, Merthyr Tydfil
We have been awarded the contract to complete the landscaping around a Marstons Tavern that is being built on the Merthyr Tydfil Leisure Village at Rhydycar Merthyr Tydfil. The works involve topsoiling, turfing and planting followed by twelve months maintenance.
The Skylark, Chelston, Nr Wellington, Somerset
Following the successful completion of the landscaping around The Honeybee, a new Marstons Tavern in Aylesbury we have recently been awarded the contract to undertake the landscaping around The Skylark, a new Marstons Tavern and Hotel being built in Chelston, near Wellington in Somerset. The works involve topsoiling, turfing, seeding and the planting of a selection of rootballed/bareroot trees, native hedgerows and a large selection of herbaceous and hardy shrubs. The turfing and container grown planting works are being undertaken during April 2010 prior to the premises opening and we will return in November 2010 to complete the planting of all rootballed/bareroot trees and transplants. The site is to be maintained for 12 months from the end of April 2010.
Danescourt Primary School, Cardiff - Extension
We have been appointed to cut back and prune existing trees which are overhanging the new school building and access way. We have also been asked to undertake some large scale turfing reinstatement works and install a rubber crumb safety surface play area.
Ysgol Plasmawr Comprehensive School, Cardiff - Phase 4 Extension
As part of ongoing development work to Plasmawr School in Cardiff, we are carrying out extensive topsoiling and turfing works to the surrounding school buildings.
Hawthorn Primary School, Cardiff - Amalgamation and Redevelopment
We have been appointed to undertake tree planting and grass seeding work along with the development of a secure forest garden teaching area.
New ASDA Superstore at John Street, Newport
We have been appointed to undertake the soft landscape works associated with the new Asda store on the site of the former cattle market in Newport. The works will involve topsoiling, container grown tree and shrub planting, mulching, and upon completion 12 months maintenance.
Reinstatement to a New Classroom Block, Rhws Primary School
We have been appointed to undertake reinstatement work to the school grounds surrounding a new school extension. This involves importing and spreading over 2500m2 of topsoil before then turfing the area. Planting work includes planting a new boundary hedge and a number of individual trees which will then be mulched with bark.
Office and Residential Development Compton Road, Tonypandy
This contract involves us in planting and mulching a steep embankment together with the supply and laying of turf. All of the landscaping work needs to be completed at very short notice prior to the main contractor handing over the site.
